No pool or beach visit is complete without snacks and cold drinks, especially in the heat! A must have for me is a soft-sided collapsible cooler, it is perfect size for snacks and drinks while also being easy to store when not using! https://amzn.to/4edzSfV

Some essentials for a successful day at the water include my favorite Dock & Bay towels, which are light weight and packable, but super absorbent and quick drying! I also love my towel bands! They keep my towel from sliding around my chair, but they are so much easier to pack than traditional towel clips, and they take up way less room in my pool bag! I NEVER go to the beach or the pool without my handheld fan. There are many available, but this one is mine! Without it, I would never be able to be without AC. Over the years I have tried tons of cooler inserts to keep my snacks and drinks cold. They always end up melting super fast, springing leaks, or just taking up too much space. I finally came across these from cooler shock and I will never buy another brand again. They stay cool forever, have not leaked on me yet, and are slim and fit nicely in my cooler bag! Last but not least, no trip to the pool, the lake, or the beach is complete without a floatie of some kind! I personally like a floating hammock that I can use in whichever way suits my current mood! Let’s be honest though, there are some days that I do not want to leave the comfort of my own backyard, but it is just too dang hot to sit in the sun. So, I grab my patio sun lounger, fill her up with some water, pop my patio umbrella, and relax to my heart’s content. This is a perfect place for some summer kindle reading (IMO)!
